I agree they have shifted, what I’m saying is that is a direct result of deliberate policy.

If women had been encouraged to have more children instead of encouraged to have a “career” then they would be having more children.

Imho it’s no accident that this decades old promotion of “the career woman” has gone hand in hand with a shift in what proportion of what takes up a family’s budget, this massive promotion of credit along with fiscal tools that actually force people into credit.

You have been bombarded with this mindset for decades.

Every advert, every TV show, showing you shiny things, showing you the credit card or loan company, showing you the “happy, powerful, career woman”…..it’s been sold to you so much that it’s now accepted thinking.

If in another reality we had done what Orban has done and taken women out of the tax system forever on the birth of their 2nd child, if we had shown you non stop media about how it’s great to be a mum looking after a big family, if we had let you keep most of your wages and never offered you a loan for shiny things so that you just bought them when you could afford them….then you’d be doing that.

You think what you’ve been taught to think !

You can't argue with any a that

We live in the age of bullshite.  If you had 3 lads on your yard and the reporter was coming you would give em some suitable clothes. Some muck boots and a gillet with the yard name on it. Instea

Or the other 28 countries that they passed through, they could of claimed asylum... parents should be charged with child neglect, and sent back to their shithole of origin 👍

I have to admit, I f***ing hate those type of people, they are the enemy within and the country is f***ing choc a block with them. See, we gas amongst ourselves on here but it’s an echo chamber i

Only last year I was in the Westfield in Stratford with my wife and couldn’t get over all the youngsters in the shops buying £600 puffy coats then we were having a coffee and she said to me look up the middle aisles of the shops the bank are actually set up there at kiosk things selling people the credit outside the shops. I’m sure everyone remembers years ago on the estate there was always the family that always had the loan men knocking and they were nearly frowned upon because of it. Now it’s all normalised and the loan sharks have become respectable men who work in the bank pack of c**ts in my opinion selling people dreams and an image. And on the women working I know when I was married it would of been an embarrassment if my woman would of had to work there was no way it would happen

That's it mate

What would your advice be then mc ?. Stay living in a rented house , so that you have to pay rent every month until you die ?.

I was late getting a mortgage , I was almost 30 , but it was paid off by the time I was 40.

It's f***ing hard graft , but anyone can do it if they try hard enough.

I agree that blowing money on finance for cars or new curtains is just daft ( if you cant afford to save for it , then you simply cant afford it) , but taking out a mortgage to buy your own home , is always better than renting.

It's seen across the world, as societies progress and become wealthier, birth rates drop regardless. In Iran, where there's a strong Islamic culture for large families, the birth rate plummeted to below replacement levels, it was the same in South Korea despite them spending billions on pro-family incentives. If it was all engineered why would these countries that are actively trying to boost births be doing so bad? Even in Hungary where income tax was scrapped for mother's of 4+ kids and subsidises housing for families, birth rates barely rose before stalling again.

I’ve not researched all those country’s mate so all I can say is fair enough, if that’s the case then it’s the case.

Hungary was explained by Orban as a halt in the road due to Covid but he said they are getting back on track now, how true that is I couldn’t tell you.

But I stand by the my observation that society has been engineered to be in this situation and if it had been engineered in such a way as to put family( instead of tax & credit ) as the central column of society then everyone would be having more kids…..I think it’s there for all to see but that’s just my opinion.

Stop lying to save face squire, coming down to London FFS. I've worked enough times in that shitehole you call home and if i never visited it again I would die an happy man.

Have you heard of the marvelous phone setting called a notification, let me tell you out it works, a woke snowflake who is upset at something I've posted and can't help themselves to have a pop, write a post to me, send it, and this amazing notification sound pops up on my phone and like magic, i open the app and bingo, it's there. Lol

The only blowing would be you blowing a gasket, nature always beats chemically enhanced, now have a splendid Bank Holiday instead of worrying about a working class hero from Yorkshire.

Ive only just clocked this hahahahaha you absolute minge are you seriously going to sit there and deny arguing with me about arm wrestling a while back....only to then tell me you was coming down to London soon ?....to which i invited you to meet me and id take you through the whole arm wrestling debate we was having on a proper competition table ? are you actually going to say that conversation didnt take place ?.....you left it at a bit of a pussy like " ok i'll be in touch " type of gesture and that was it i never heard nothing more.

Ive seen you little forum action men on here before you have an undying tenacity to have the last word Seagull.....years ago, just like yourself i had a ferocious determination to make my mark, however mine was in the real world going through real people in order to attain wealth and the respect of my peers whereas your ferocious determination is to make your mark on the general section of an internet forum while you f**k about laying tracks for choo choo trains or whatever it is you do in your spare time.....we are just cut from very different cloths....im not saying im better than any man but you and me are just different thats all now go away and poke your chest out to someone else.

Don’t get me wrong mate, I think women have always worked and I don’t have a problem with it at all.

But the difference was, the family unit was stronger, the older ones looked after the younger ones, maybe the grandparents were looked after within the family home so they kept and eye, it was “pin” money as they used to call it rather than “ship the kids off to the childminders and get on a train every morning for the next 40 years and see the kids in the weekend”

I wanted my wife to be able to be a mum, I was lucky in that my wife could take my kids to our little showroom while I was out and about…..but you’d be amazed at the mixed reaction we got, some people thought it was wonderful we just brought the kids along to work but others used to give my wife very dirty looks, pass comments etc…..f**k em, I loved having my kids with us all the time.

The family unit mate……f**k that was considered bizarre even 23 years ago and it’s was a hard thing to manage because you are going against every grain in every possible way……the system wasn’t designed for me to do that.

But both my nans raised family’s of 8 & 9 respectively, one had a shop and everyone just mucked in together……they don’t want that now, they want you as a number on a spreadsheet, an individual, isolated and just punching the card until you die.

We all know, none of this is a “choice”, it’s deliberate engineering.

A strong people have strong connections, they don’t want that.

Remined me of my kids coming down the yard with me, they still talk about it.. I made them.a rope swing one Saturday morning off the front of the tele handler lol... 6 or 7 years old swinging over welding plant and chop saws lol

My mate kept all his safety nets in one of the big rooms, his kids and my kids would play in there for hours, making dens etc...

When we had the kids Mrs went down to 2 days a week, I was working away a fair bit but my mum would have them on a Friday and I'd have them on a Saturday, they'd come football with me and get spoiled rotten, no amount of baby sitters whilst I played.. lol..

My cousins live edge of London, have young kids, and I see there life, it's a struggle everyday imo.. both parents working everyday, a juggle between school, childcare, sports clubs etc, they are knackered mate.

One set wants to move down here, they'd buy a nice place for what they'll get for there not so nice place, the pace of life everyday up there would break me, where they live has changed beyond measure, it's saddening to be honest
