In most of these reports, the word 'probably' seems to be pretty common.

Can certainly see why so many people doubt the veracity of many of these sightings.

On the other hand, there are plenty of reports of sightings which are very believable.

I've not seen one, personally, but there are a few members on here that claim to have seen one, and I'm certainly not going to call them liars.

The photo was unearthed by the assistant director of a center for zoology when he was working...

 

A photo found in a collection, with a hand written note with no date. 

At best it proves a released cat was seen in a certain area at an unknown time....not that big cats are living and breeding in the UK. 

At worst it's a cat photographed in a safari park and sent as a hoax....to and from unknown people at an unknown time.....hence why the recipient threw it in a box and it got stacked in a corner.

If it is real it's really good and proves what a photo should look like.... especially since it was taken with old camera technology. Imagine the photos and evidence that could be produced today if cats were living and breeding 👍

Exactly mate a clear picture would show they are here and with cubs would prove breeding but till then it’s guess work

Dr Karl Shuker the chap who spotted the fake has a couple of degrees including one in Zoology,he has also written 30+ books including “Mystery cats of the world” he has the perfect credentials to sort the wheat from the chaff.
