You're obviously more invested in this stuff, politically etc etc, than I am, gnash. I really don't have enough knowledge about it all, as you do, so I won't attempt a 'knowledgeable' reply lol. Just to say, as I did to wilf, a couple of years ago, where I'm from, racism, pressure, trouble, policing issues etc from blacks etc, is far less than your part of the country, which is probably why I don't have such strong opinions on it.
