I must admit he did sound a bit wierd, but who knows. If the tide can pull strong can a body get out to sea on that stretch????? A body nirmally bloats in 10 days don’t it????? I know a river near us has claimed a few they don’t get found very quickly

Cat bait but in all seriousness it was quite a mad case, first murder conviction in Scottish history without a body I believe, he was shot 4 times by 4 people, the last one was not convicted of the murder because he would have been dead already, after they shot him they were in an alcove in a pub talking about it and unbeknown to them there was a copper sat in the alcove behind them that heard it all and took the car reg as they left, but as they were being lifted one went back and moved the body which has never been found to this day

It isn't but the current is strong even in low water you can feel the pull against your legs if your stood in it

This is the river outside my house, we get regular jumpers from the bridge, the river is about 200/300 meters wide and has one of the highest tides in England it enters the Severn less than a mile downstream yet body’s are usually recovered in the first 12 hours with nothing more than the helicopter and either an inflatable or small hovercraft depending on tides,

Yes it's hot the keepers out every night parked up I have 4 farms in that area 2 close to were she went missing police have had drones out today I believe her family accepted the specialists search teams invation to scan the river

The geezer with the search team said that is usually the case within a few hundred yards of were they went in but the sonar gear will find her easily, there was a geezer up here a few years back money no object type he was into his predator fishing in a big way had a boat loaded with kit including a very expensive bit of sonar, it covered the canal from bank to bank and showed up everything, the canal I’m on is a shipping canal and is 16ft deep and 30/40 ft wide not the usual shallow ditch

There's lots of ditches here when the rivers up they flood and flood the fields I think that's why they have been flying drones up and down them
