Pike , I’ve had loads of roach , dace and chublets for bait though . Had a pike hit my float twice and then take a roach but drop it and another dropped run . 
 

literally just had this 12.12 on a decent chublet as I was posting .

 Quick hour on this tiny pond today

Had maybe 50 bluegill and crappies today,really nice day to be on the river,and saw a few bald eagles.

Yes mate,my Lady used to fish for them as a kid and her mum would fry them up,she calls them pan fish and still likes a fry of fish.

Yes i see a few on youtube catching them and say they are meant to be good eating

Well, hardest session I've had for a blank. River conditions weren't great to put it mildly. I've needed to get out as been work since Christmas and 50 days of rain. Had good company,some decent scran, learnt some stuff from Sean , got to test out my barbel bundle , know what bits and pieces I need to get together, and have returned with a great appreciation of my shower, bed and sofa lol.
