Love the Deerhound hybrids....? I miss them.....?

Deerhound hybrids were all the rage in the 1980's,...we all had some fun...?

The mother to my dog, daughter of Richard Jones was mental up until about 1 year old, my mate couldn’t do a thing with it, she settled and was a real handy bitch, jump anything, loads of stamina, the best blood from hancocks imo.

Cheers.

His dad did my laminate floors !

He was having a coffee break and looked out the kitchen window and saw the dogs in their runs and told me his son had Deerhounds, turned out to be Trevor.

Ive never met him, but I was after a deer grey about 13 years ago, sired by Doxhope Knights Errant to a sister to Westmead Hawk, so I spoke to Bill Doherty about the sire. He told me he sold his Deerhounds to Trevor, who now owned the stud dog.

I got the only brindle bitch in the litter, and she gave me 12 good years.

I don't think Trevor has the dogs now.

The pup I have now has both Doxhope and Cookland deerhound on the sire side.
