So I got my first ferret in 53 and dog in late 54 and went from there but I am not in my eighties

I got my first dog in 1965, when I was 13, I'm now 70, sorry for being presumptuous

Its no issue most people thought i was in my 70s when I was fifty lol , I got my first dog on my sixth birthday, so we are not far apart in age.

I was born into the lurcher world but no way would I of been able to have my own dog at 6 I could just about hold my piss

I was at Westerhope Whippet Racing Club this morning, most of the people were in their 60's to 80's, I had some great craic, I was in my element !

I wasn't born into the lurcher word far from it and my first dog was nothing like a lurcher, that came at a later date and for people info the first things I hunted were hedgehogs, rats etc oh and bull finches.

This miss understanding came about out of a simple statement that i started hunting in 1954 or there about's and nowhere did I say with lurcher.
