I’d imagine that the bitterness of the sloes goes really well with sweet cider I’m now thinking that would make an amazing syrup to go with a cake

Gets you pretty pissed I know that the sloes have been in gin and vodka for three months so rather than throw them at the end you get another round let me know if you do the syrup

After i've decanted the sloe gin, i then add a bottle of sweet sherry to the sloes, gives a nice tasting drink for latter in the year. Cheers. Aled
