I'm having a problem with fleas I've tried all sorts of sprays an shampoos, new bedding steam cleaned kennels the lot an they keep coming back, up until this I've never had a problem with them, any recommendations for something that can ged rid,

Yeah I used that before and think it was stronghold as well , I was told to keep changing as the fleas build a resistance up like they did with frontline ?

Not too well versed on it but we brought pups in and they were infested and advocate sorted it, 3-4 treatments...

Anybody ever use stuff called permethrin 10 livestock dogs. Supposed to b good.

Don as I said I've done everything to get rid, an it's worked, for a few weeks and their grand it's just the spaniel keeps getting them back the lurchers haven't had a bother on them,

Fleas are a pain in the ass The only way to control them is to upset there breeding cycle it’ll eventually get rid of them it’s a nightmare if your catching rabbits as a lot of rabbits carry fleas it can be a constant battle google up there breeding cycle it has a few tips on there that might be of some help fella

As poxon says, it can be a pain, my mutts always getting them, one catches squirrels, the other has it’s bloody head down every rabbit and fox hole we ever come across

You can get a tablet from vet for dog can’t remember the name expensive but very effective kills fleas within half hour of dog taking it & lasts a month. Hope you get prob sorted bud.  Atb

This is what you want Peter.spray this on the dogs to wet them and watch the fleas jump off.

Also spray the gaps etc in kennels..

Mix about 10ml in 1litre of water.

Use 1 of the wife's spray bottles under the sink.

As said "Bravecto" and can last 6 MTHS you can get a milder form that last 3 mths so it will last when the eggs hatch this give you plenty a time to eliminate where there coming from . I've used it when everything else failed and it worked it was also used on a bitch in pup at that time and no probs obviously with vets advice. Up to your self but this is the stuff. Vet will supply it.
