Its been said before but this time its looking like the whole house of cards is on very unsteady ground  with Italy now either looking for the exit or refusing debt laden bailouts and  crashing the eurozone.

Micron is getting desperate now. The French economy was already going to the wall and this is his last hope of saving his job. There is absolutely no chance of him getting re-elected at present so he's trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat to get some extra funds.

I reckon that it will only fall as a political entity. The trade will continue between EU countries on current terms but with each country being able to set its own arrangements with non-EU trading partners. So the Bulgarians and Romanians will revert to buying Russian tractors and old German cars, lots of countries will revert to importing Japanese and Korean electrical goods and companies like Phillips and Renault cars will go bust because they won't be able to survive without the protection that the EU gives them.

I think that the € will be abandoned wholesale and Europe will be a better place.
