got short legs, prob got  presa in it , as there not over tall dogs, but very heavy set with big block heads like that dog. the pitxabd  that aussie whipp, looks good guard, good head not over big but nice strong  broad muzzle, that where the biteing power come from,yet gsd  got  strong bite/jaw,  but not over broad muzzle  like some other breeds, my dog Buck got hell of a bite on him,  most lurchers have good jaws, greyhound another breed with strong bite, and they got slim muzzle, maybe its just the dogs and want to just bite hard, feck knows lol

It’s a pressa mate. That’s not a very good pic if I’m honest. I’ll try get some better ones in the light. He’s only 13 months. He got him as a family dog/ guard really. He said he brilliant with the kids but when he needs to switch on he will. He got him in good shape to be honest. Looks good in the flesh

Watched some episodes of 'Outback Truckers' and noticed many of the drivers had cattle dogs to guard the cabs of their roadtrains

We've had trouble in the past with scrap men helping themselves. Next doors lab always barks and follows any strangers that come on the place, but can be almost entirely sure she will not bite. With UK law as it stands against dogs that bite and customers, postie etc visiting, the lab does a good job letting us know if there is a stranger around.

I can't understand it,the way the world's going,a guard dog biting is the last thing to worry about.All the businesses around in our local town here have cattle dogs locked in the yards at night.They are reliable and don't get stolen as are worth nothing,as far as money goes here.

Good looking dogs, I like a bit of leg on these large breeds and not to deep chests. If you look at any pictures of old molossers, guarding breeds etc they all seem more moderate than the ones we have today. the Boerboel seems to be getting heavier and heavier, that can't be good for it's health or working abilities.

In Brazil there's breeders trying to get back to the older style fila's, more athletic than the present ones. I don't know what goes through these breeders minds with some of the dogs they are producing, have they got different eyes to us? eg Serbian rottweiller

For some reason, they want to give it  bulldog type head. nutters and that one apparently is a Serbian champion! Haven't. they ever seen how these dogs are supposed to look like?
