Had m ate back in the day who had a few pink triangle bits  including turntable along with sonus Faber speakers ect  he had the turntable on a slab of marble set into his wall .....myself i think he needed to get out more it did sound good though

 Classic British gear denon seperate,s  with  warfdale speakers plus a plug  in ion turntable I can play everything from vinyl to iPad s, on it, it's still very repairable and available in good stereo outlets and loud enough to get the neighbours complaining

Vinyl actually outsold other forms of music last year for the first time in donkey,s years, so no it's far from died out and is infact enjoying a big  come back as people realise that newer does not mean better
