Down south we had a fantastic thunderstorm the other night. There wasn't much fork lightning, it was mostly sheet lightning like a strobe light for several hours. It absolutely thrashed It down and the road was like a river but surprisingly  the ground wasn't very wet in the morning. The ground just sucked it in. Today has been blooming hot and humid. Overnight we are forcast another storm. I like watching the lightning and the spaniel likes the thunder. She keeps looking around expecting pigeons and pheasants to start falling.
