I really can't believe that just because he's never seen a decent bull cross it means that the dont exist.Ive never seen a saluki cross do a decent job on foxes.Doesnt mean I don't believe there's none out there.

Seen one would take a hammering  but that's it and I'd say it was a freak mchull we walked had bull x s  got foxes deer hares caught everything with them come on now empty head there not competing with your saluki on open ground 3 out of 3 a lot of lads wouldn't be arsed hunting like that  but rabbit fox deer odd hare you know there's more than capable bull x out there if you havnt seen half decent ones mchull or seen them catching deer fox rabbits odd hare you havnt seen many bull x out mchull acts daft but he's not he just like winding people up and making them blow lol

There you go... That dog could put in 4 or 5 nights back then, easy. Running anything I put infront of it, and believe me, i put a lot infront of it. With wind enough to run all night.

It could work holes next to terriers or ferrets, and dare I say it take the odd hare daytime (a couple on Altcar estate) I was never afraid to give it a slip.

Now that line is not the same as the stuff Downsouth and Co. are talking about, but there gear was just as capable, maybe even more so... His stuff still exists, my mate has two, but no one in their right mind is going to put anything recent up on here now, are they. Those dogs live in the shadows...

You've just seen scatter bred shite, and have no idea what a real dog is capable of.

Your pig ignorant, and think your cleaver putting every other cross and their owners down when you've really seen very little. You compare every other cross to a dog specifically bred to catch hares, and believe they are superior because they are fast and can stay. There is much more to this land and the quarry upon it than that..!

Go on, crack on with another 'lol' but you really need to get out more...

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

Hi lads what's the best think I can do to heal this cut on my dogs paw

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
