If you go on you tube it tells you how to avoid paying this rip off licence fee . The BBC is a left wing , politically correct , government propaganda machine. It's children's programs are full of their "multicultural " nonsense messages. It's track record in turning a blind eye to nonses and pedophiles who work for them is shameful. Don't get me wrong I don't like the BBC bunch of oxbridge c**ts lol Assuming you still pay your license fee , then it's your money they are paying these tossers . In a free market where there is competition and a company wants to pay you x amount because you are good at your job , fair enough , I'm all for people who work hard getting on , but it's public money which if you own a television , which most people do then you have to pay it , or face ultimately prison ! No other corporation has the muscle that the BBC has , and the back up of capita the police and the courts. And it's also their hypocrisy, for a "left wing organisation " they have been found out that they are paying white males the most while women and ethnic minority's are lagging behind in pay ...typical, don't do as I do , do as I tell you . Graham Norton and David Dimbleby, for instance, are paid through a production company, so they probably 'earn' a lot more than the given figure ! Far from being a government stooge, I think that the BBC has been set up up for this, by forcing them to publish pay figures, knowing that it would cause this kind of furore. Successive governments, particularly of the blue persuasion, have had it in the BBC, and done everything in its power to undermine the Corporation. I completely accept that this is public money, and we have a right to know where it's spent - I'm just suspicious of the government's motives.....if you want to commercialise the BBC, then be clear about it and say so - don't resort to underhand tactics and dirty tricks, in the name of 'transparency' or 'consumer information'.
