BGD 6,385
I haven't seen it talked about much but the interesting aspect of this parliament is going to be English votes for English laws. The Tories only have a majority of 1 including the DUP and their seats in Scotland so when it comes to passing laws that only effect England they're totally hamstrung. Don't Sinn Fein not take their seats knocking the majority mark down? Still not sure that gives the Gov' a majority on English matters though. Sorry I had a total brain fart earlier forgetting to discount Scottish and Welsh seats when it comes to a majority on English matters, the magic number is 267 so Conservatives will have a slim but comfortable majority of English seats to pass English laws. I guess that's why no one has really been talking about it!
