neems 2,406
I beleive that most of these type of things are a cluster f**k one way or another.......circumstances. I think that's letting them off too lightly, this wasn't kept quiet for so long due to incompetence or mismanagement or any sort of unfortunate accident. It wasn't an accident that all those people who tried to bring this to the attention of the police and media where ignored for so long. I don't believe the police didn't know,or social services or the media they all just chose not to act,or often to try and cover it up. As of now there is no excuse for this to happen to even the most naive, there is no safety net and everyone now knows it,the establishment have shown their agenda.

No I understand that, I meant more about laying any blame at the door of the family........it's hard to blame people for some things when they just don't naturally have that mindset. "Normal" folk ain't giving their kids the "not like us" lecture by and large.......if my kids hung around with a group at school or outside and a few of them were Africans or Pakis I'd be saying "oi, what the f**k are you hanging about with them for......you can pack that in" but most ordinary people don't think like that.....they wouldn't pass any heed.

WILF 50,192
Look I'm the man that empathises with the camp commandant character in "Boy in the striped pajamas" but that don't make me normal.......in fact it probably makes me a bit odd and hopefully I have lived long enough to realise my "common sense" is always going to be someone else's monsterous. You just can't be hard on people sometimes, we may think some folk nieve, stupid, politically correct or whatever.........the fact is it didn't even come into their head and that dont make them bad or negligent people as parents. However, the authority's knew full well and they had their own reasons.........we can all guess what they are but to me they are scumbags Edited May 22, 2017 by WILF
tatsblisters 10,956
The main culprits in the Rotherham CSE were also dirty scummy smack dealers who a lot of white trash scum had dealings with plus they had bent coppers and labour councilors in their pockets.
mackay 3,633
Said it before and I make no apologies for repeating it. The biggest danger and threat to this country and its people are our own home grown liberal leftwing apologists. I'd string those bstards up right before I started on the beasts.

EXACTLY I don't blame these migrants one bit as I would be the same if in their shoes (not grooming) in coming here getting as much as they can off us. It's our own people facilitating them and ostracised us when we are putting up with the negatives of immigrants I hate these people with a passion

ChrisJones 7,975
I will hold my hands up and say the first question that crossed my mind is "why are they associating with pakis of any age, never mind at a party" ............there is the first innocent slip up right there, most normal people won't bring their kids up drumming it into them to keep away from these people......they just don't think that way and fair enough. "These people" should be expanded to teach kids the early warning signs of potential grooming. It's 2017 and we've got to have a frank discussion with them about the dangers of predators. This bloke wouldn't be covered under your early warning system. The fact that he was able to do it in plain sight, so frequently to the point it was actually a joke among staff at the BBC, NHS, etc, etc is a f***ing travesty. Once again we hear those words. Police apologise. Social services sorry that enough wasn't done. System not set up to deal with... Blah, blah, f***ing blah... Billions squandered by an incompetent public sector, who seem to have a complete handbook full of pre-prepared excuses for when they're compelled to look the other way. We all know someone who has been abused as a child. Either in confidence or just by the numbers. Maybe you don't know they've been a victim but they have. NSPCC put the figure at one in twenty, with 90% of the offenders knowing the child. They recorded 47000 sexual offences, against children in 2016, but how many weren't reported? How many were reported but no action was taken because of lack of evidence? Sara Rowbotham made 181 referrals that went ignored by her superiors, and the police. She was one of the few who actually did her job and was ignored almost completely while these offenders continued. A true needle in a very expensive haystack. I'll conclude here. The public sector aren't going to fix this mess without a severe kick up the arse from their constituents. They know the status quo will be kept and they will continue to civily serve themselves. As they're unlikely to help, and are probably more likely to hinder, it's up to us parents to educate our kids on the dangers sexual abuse from across the board, not just the ones you can point out by sight. Not pleasant conversation for a youngster but a stitch in time considering the alternative.
