Get a 100 new "honest" people off the street and within a couple of year 90% if not more will forget there morals and principles. Dunno the answer either lads. Maybe a cap on politicians wages like a standard 500quid a week but that kinda stinks of communisim lol make it less appealing and maybe those really interested in helping the nation and not themselfs will take up the job.
