I'd like to more facts before properly drawing a conclusion but, on the face of it, it seems fair enough.   ....... Dog owner didn't secure his dogs adequately, dogs got out, they got over excited

Even more responsible would be if he didnt walk a " really funny " dog in the local park !   I never understood why folk with aggressive dogs wanted to mingle with every day dog walkers i always use

always feel for these dogs I really do, just cos the wrong tosser bred em and sold em to the wrong tosser they end up shot dead, what a waste, its litter brother likely sat in a house being some famil

I've said this before , all bull types should be registers at birth video a the breeder and a thousand pound charged for the litter

The dogs should be subject to spot checks and if the paperwork is not in place they should be lifted and destroyed within 24 hours and they should gets. Life ban from owning dogs

That will stop clowns Like that

Every bull type is not a child's empty bed room

yeh true mate, if only though , another child fighting for its life, been attacked by a pitbull type , its on here in the page with the link to it .And ive always said you get more dog attacks in the summer , people/kids are out more, and these type dogs will be out as well .The owners of these type dogs dont know the 1st thing about how to train a dog, socialise them, so you end up with a dangerous dog , i was brought up with bull breeds staffs, pit, bull mastiffs , never any probs , because they were cared for properly with all my family, they were never loosed off leads unless we thought the dog was ok .My 2 lurchers now have brill temps with people and dogs, my big dog got the best temperament of any dog ive ever had , he go up to people just for fuss lol, ok most people are wary of him only because hi size, but call him to and walk to heal no lead, because he trained and socialised and it got to be with any breed, but some breeds alot more , otherwise this stuff will keep happening  hope the little girl pulls though , the injuries will be mental and physical

round our way the latest fashion seems to be akita dogs or mastiff crosses but walking them on them daft pull out extendable leashes. said owner usually panics at the first sight of any loose dogs (after all its a killing machine) and ends up with dog running around there legs tying them up, it amuses me that much if ive finished my walk and I spy one I unlesh the dogs just to induce the panic and watch them try to get the dog back close hilarious, maybe one day I wlll suggest using a prope rleash n collar especially as they such deadly beasts. one bloke tells me its so bad he daren't plet it off near any other dogs at all, but seen it playing n the yard with his toddler lol

Arcticgun. A few years ago two Rottie killing machines being walked late at night by an owner on the phone pinned my 2 lurchers in a garage complex amongst cries of watch them danny, they're animals

Lol

Animals alright, one would have put a daytime hare to shame as it ran the mile home as its kennel mate was slowly getting stretched into two like a fox by a lucky bred dog and a bull saluki greyhound

Why the f**k should I keep mine on the lead to get worried ?

There's not a worse mix than no lead, drink and a bull type

Should've just shot the owner as well...

I am sick of arseholes buying dogs because of some idiotic status idea and they're always sh*t dog owners without a clue.

Last year my dog was attacked in my own garden by a huge Akita or something like that, my dog was pinned to the floor and savaged within seconds, I ran outside and tried to get it off and it was so strong I literally pulled myself off my own feet and fell over at which point I realised what a stupid thing I had done and I was lucky it didn't turn on me, I have never felt so much strength in an animal with my own hands. The prick who owned it jumped in grabbed his dog and just left, I was so shocked I didn't have time to think about anything.

You joking?

That'd draw the little pricks to them like flies to shiit!

We don't have basic accountability down yet,I'd prefer we start with that and see what happens.

The problem is the government wont do something sensible like they they'll just ban the breeds to show they're 'doing something' which is going to hurt the responsible owners who like these dogs, the idiots will just get around it by getting cross breeds or something else and the problems will still keep happening. We can hope though.

I avoid other dog owners (except the ones I know are ok) like the plague I don't see how we gain anything by putting our dogs in an unpredictable situation.
