That's not a win against the USA by any stretch of the imagination, I doubt the USA give a shite about the Strait of Hormuz they have there own oil supplies especially now Trump has control over Venezuelan oil.

I thought the point of the war was regime change and the ability to.enrich uranium finished once and for all

Makes perfect sense.

The USA offered to put all the engineering and infrastructure in place for them to enrich the Uranium basically so they could keep tabs on it and control it before they even started bombing so not sure why thats strange ?

Compensation is also not unusual the UNCC handle the claims and Germany after WW1 and Japan after WW2 both had reparations imposed.
