I had a bitch a few year back cracking little bitch she was, great in bails too, always stayed till dig but would bolt if she could, at one point she was the most used at the atherstone, only ever seen one other dog bred this way work and he was a cracker too. 8 Quote Link to post

trapliner 92 Posted December 6, 2016 Report Share Posted December 6, 2016 Mate of mine had a jp bred bitch was the best terrier I ever saw in bale stacks saw it bolt one from a massive stack one day ten high square bales both dog and fox on the very top in less than thirty seconds would have taken me longer climbing ten high with use of a ladder 1 Quote Link to post

JP was always well known for breeding good solid red very rough coated terriers, often called Lakelands. Has JP bred these smooth dogs or are they terriers with only some of his breeding in them but they still get called Park types ? 1 Quote Link to post

Park always has has smooths in his litters Neil, same as the B&B stuff his dogs came out of. His hard coated reds are what he's known for (and how people see a Park dog) but smooths have always been there too. Check out Dai Harcolmbes 'World of the...' for a couple of photo's.
