Paulnix 426
Dunno but you could bet the dustman would take it if the scrap was indeed art.
Born Hunter 17,907
I'm sure there's a video on YouTube of some fella that buys a canvas from Wilko's or similar for a few quid and puts it in an art exhibition and then films various critics giving their analysis. At the end he tells them the crack to their embarrassment.

I think maybe they got the opinions of some well known 'critics' :-)
Waz 4,292
Wish I had time to get round galleries. But id say seeing a photo of something and seeing it in 'the flesh' are 2 different ambiances..
sussex 5,803
I know I'm not to ofay with modern art , but is the shelf part of it .? If it is it spoils it , if it's not it looks like a scrap metal banana , the shelf on its own could be useful ...

Rake aboot 4,936
Pile of shit One piece at a modern exhibition was binned by a cleaner cause it really was a pile off rubbish left lying on the floor. Artist had to re do it (throw it on the floor again).

pesky1972 5,632
Maybe I've just no culture about me but I just don't get the modern art stuff at all. Some stuff is nice to look at, and I do appreciate there's some pieces which display skilled craftsmanship, but in the main I can't get into it. It's maybe because I think I could do it myself, whereas a lifelike painted portrait or landscape shows a real talent which only a few possess. Saying that..., On Sunday I stood with my 7 year old in front of Van Gogh's 'chair' in the national gallery. The lad reckoned it was rubbish ?
