The castles had to be dropped for obvious reasons.......i would think anyone even remotely patriotic would be respectful of the new badge regardless what club they support.

not ashamed nash just realistic the likes of westham pompey chelsea boro etc always carried big numbers and were known for a reason then teams like millwall grimsby burnley carlisle though not big in numbers were always a tight hardy bunch and bolton who were big in numbers before the raids (billy whizz fan club) were a nasty mob but its all days gone by i still have a few mates who made good money when the raves took over and that more or less took over there way of thinking when good coin was there to be earned everything else takes a backseat

Suicide squad remember some of them boys.

Apart from the obvious change of ground I'd think this badge change would be a hard one too take mate? I see that the castles were an iconic thing for the club at your old ground.....I can't see why they couldn't have based the new badge around a castle design.

bennys lot theres a name from the past i remember them mush early 80s always drunk in oxford and the bloomfield and that pub near the bus station was it the sun and the sucide squad with there dungees and ocean pacfic jumpers and all wearing pod shoes with there hair permed at the back fashion eh shame whats happening at blackpool mush

Not lived in blackpool for a few years now. last I heard, gaz's lot had moved on from all the rucking and the young lot have taken up the mantle.

 

The hop inn I think is the pub you're on about mate near the bus station spent quite a few happy moments in there

Fair play there was a few real head bangers but they were never the trendiest lads on the street, usually wore hand me downs
