But don't forget the upsets we've had in heavyweight boxing. ....Buster Douglas against Tyson, Rahman against Lewis, Ali against both Foreman and Liston, Spinks against Ali, Ruiz against Joshua and Corrie Sanders against Vladimir K. If Whyte can drag Itauma into the later rounds, who knows how his mind will handle a drawn out war against Whyte? Big crowd, the weight of expectation, and still only twenty. It could be too much for him. And don't forget one of the few sensible things Mike Tyson said. "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face. Then, they freeze in panic and fear". Roll on Saturday night. Double cocoa for me. Theres definitely the chance of an upset....for a wily old fox Frank Warren is making a few slip ups of late probably due to the fact that the sheikh is making things just a little bit too comfortable for top promoters no longer worried if the show doesnt make money.....im told this do at the weekend hasnt sold well....it possibly could have sold out an arena in England but will 2 London lads who are not big names sell well in Saudi, im not so sure......he slipped up with Fury although that wasnt really his fault but he mismanaged David Adeleye in my opinion and has thrown Adeleye into a very difficult fight again at the wknd....Frank used to be a very good manager of fighters using good matchmakers to get them the right fights at the right times but easy £££'s from the sheikh seem to be changing all that id like to see Adeleye beat Hergovic as he's a good lad but i cant see it,and at 28/29 its a career that isnt going well keeping in mind he did really well in the amateurs....for me ol man Warren has taken his eye off the ball of late and if Itauma was to slip up as well.......

We saw him dressed in a tuxedo in there one night and spoke to him (Dutch courage) and he was really sound but f**k me he was massive! Cheers, D. Yes , London did well out of the night club business. He was a keep fit fanatic and could be seen running along the prom every morning even into his eighties. He was limited but game in his day. I enjoyed watching him. I think he fought Henry Cooper more than once. He didn't start boxing until late. He said he didn't want to have a beat up face like his dad. But he was encouraged to give it a go in the army. The army and the other services introduced a lot of boxers to the sport. In the fifties boxing was really big on the telly so boxers learned they could make a few quid from the sport.
kanny 21,657 Posted yesterday at 08:38 Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:38 Gotta say and I hope I'm wrong but I'm leaning towards Whyte for the win tonight, all the old man talk and the pundits writing him off seems to be really motivating Whyte, he's come for business, I can't help feeling that they are rushing Itauma, let's hope he doesn't fall short like his hyped up brother did , a lot of questions around both fighters, im looking forward to them being answered

Lenmcharristar 10,283
To be honest, i wasnt impressed by moses it was too easy and does nothing for him, whyte is washed up now, no more fights for him ffs, from the start i said to the mrs, whyte looks scared, old and stiff, barely got those words out and it was over, his punch resistance is gone
