moxy 617
Yes with a set of mole grips and a screwdriver https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=88m_Hk5ipI8
walshie 2,804
I can't see what those screws would do anyway. The screw that holds the lock in place is on the edge of the door that closes in the doorframe. Maybe that's just to hold the faceplate on? But looking at moxy's video it makes you wonder why/how they could sell eurolocks if they are that easy to break.

They snap easy because the barrel retaining screw which secures it to the door passes through the weakest part of the barrel. In fact the screw hole itself is the weak link on the eurolocks. treecreeper 1,136
The screws are only m5 brass from memory too. I noticed last time i renewed house insurance they up your premium if you have patio doors. Edited February 24, 2016 by treecreeper
stealthy1 3,964
Are there bolts on the inside pulling the lock into it's seat just like Yales? That just looks like a cover with screw missing.
Parabuteos lad 878
I don't think that door would have moved enough to activate an alarm just from unscrewing a screw. Check your sensors for cobwebs, make sure there's nothing above a radiator moving from the heat etc.

delboy_187 904
Vice grips Pete 100% they tried on it an set off the alarm trust me pal.should no that trick..They sell anti vice grip barrels now sure that's mostly how it's done .Evan a ten spanner fits perfect over it twist it then there's a little black peace inside. screwdriver to turn that which moves your lock up an down so easy not with same pressure as handle .but easier.
