fat man 4,741
Cracked ribs is a very sore condition,i once years ago when full of the guinness got in some trouble in the local pup.I left the pup and outside there were a few lads waiting for me,to put it mildly they made a football out of me,did not hurt much on the night as i was numb from the drink but next morn as i woke f**k did i hurt, even to take a deep breath was painful.I went to the hospital later in the day where they after some x-rays comfirmed i had 3 ribs broken-cracked,not a lot can be done just tight bandage around the ribcage and take things easy for a few days. beast 1,884
Try sneezing torchey . Got a load of mine bust by a horse some years ago, we had to tie it up and pull it over and one of the ropes hadn't been tied off properly. Feck, I can think about it now and still hurt!! Blackbriar 8,569
Don't be tempted to bandage it up - that will restrict your breathing and make you more susceptible to chest infections ! Very important to remember to try to breathe normally, for the same reason.
MoChara 1,632
I thought I'd done mine in, right side right around ribcage - very sore but didn't go to the doc was a week before it eased. So I imagine they weren't hurt too badly. Thank god after reading this! Yous boys need to learn to play nicer
