Oh there are some very nice, hard working whippets out there Dean. They just don't get shoved in your face and have excessive litters bred from the bitches like some lines that you'll more commonly see or hear of. Atb Alex

Yes and to make a name i.e some people want to own the next Sooty Sam and dominate the stud market. I don't want to deviate from the thread here just an observation. It's great to see so many nice whippets on one thread. There is enough variety and quality in the breed for it to have a bright future. Variety being the key word, I think we are coming out of the era where the majority of the general public's opinion was that the only type of line worth breeding from was mb/ Sooty Sam types and people are looking at alternatives as genuine workers

I toyed with one ,last year, darbo and there's a few names that people like to place in their ads,in capital letters.

But tbh I think what you said could be said about dog litters in general.

I asked a geuine question dean as i have toyed with a whippet for maybe the future.i agree there are too many dogs being bred full stop. Also to brenner i dont slate people or their dogs just ask honest questions now and again. This has been a great thread and may it continue apologies to anyone if they think i was trying to be a smart arse.
