That's what I thought mate though the hare population has risen and it's very rare not to see a couple every time I have a walk out trouble is most of the land is cris crossed with public footpaths and even a nippy small lurcher running one about it would only be a matter of time before a member of the public would see us.

I probably will do when I retire mate in October as it would be no surprise to some who knew me in the past if I was unfortunate to get collared and my name in local rags. Lol

Funny old world when I had a place in Suffolk  the fields by me were dense with hares  . It was standard to see the local dog walkers walking along while there Jack Russell’s  spaniels labs and other dogs running hares and they see it as excercise and nothing else just a normal walk to them

Dog dropped a roe this season infront of walkers but one of the walkers labraddodles was also coursing one round field. All about how you act , i just acted normal . had the cavapoo with me aswell it’s just an accident . walkers said there a nuisance . Asked if i needed a hand. I said i’ll be fine and they carried on
