Born Hunter 17,909
yep lol http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/561107/UK-spend-more-foreign-aid-than-Armed-Forces-defence-budget Ah, yeah projected. Well we now live in a country where defence features right at the bottom of priorities for both the left and right! Nobody gives a f**k about the first responsibility of government anymore. Hence, in a popularity contest it aint gonna feature very strongly.

fourlurchers 280
91,470 nurses, around one in seven of those now registered to work here trained overseas, now the average nurse earns twenty three thousand pounds PA and UKIP will stop anyone coming here unless they prove they can earn over twenty seven thousand pounds PA.. It cost around forty thousand pounds to train a nurse here and next to nothing if they train elsewhere, hope someone’s got deep pockets as we are going to have to start training a lot more nurse’s lol The situation is compounded by the amount of nurses leaving the UK to work abroad there are more leaving than coming in. Basically he’s just talking a load of bull to appease those that are unable to think for themselves. think you should stick to talking about electrolytes not nurses
mackem 29,522
I know a couple of nurses who trained here, brits,as soon as they had a few years experience under their belts they f****d off to australia,we need to incentivise british nurses to stay,as a matter of interest the NHS is recruiting in the philippines again at the current time.

Basically he’s just talking a load of bull to appease those that are unable to think for themselves. so your argument is, we stopped training nurses because it was easier to keep the pay low by recruiting from abroad. hence all our own nurses wanting to go overseas to earn more, does that not also tell you our nurses are for what ever reason wanted more than the ones were getting to fill their places No most of the foreign nurses go elsewhere as well we struggle to compete for them with places like Australia etc and lose more often than not. They recruit worldwide. Most nurses are sensible people who work alongside people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Basically they are the ones that find the right wing scapegoating of their colleagues as a good reason to clear off to somewhere with a little more tolerance.
