If any of you think that any politician is going to put you before themselves. Then quite frankly you should not be allowed to vote. In every politicians life there are three people who are impotent to them. Me, Myself and I. Not necessarily in that order. I was born in a labour heartland, where you could put a donkey in for labour and it would win, and to be honest they often did. I did not agree with the socialist doctrine of something for nothing, if someone wanted to work harder for more money, why penalise them? This was back in the 1970's. So even though it was futile, I voted conservative as that was the ethos I believed in. Then when Maggie came to power and virtually crippled S. Wales. by shutting the steel works and the pits, I decided then that I would never vote again. Because my vote counts for diddly squat, all that I believe in matters not a jot to any politician. If any politician told me they would re-nationalise any de-nationalised industry and keep them running as all the de-nationalised have been run, as profit making companies without the millions in salaries going to the executives, I would vote for them tomorrow. But, we all know that will never happen. As every politician is only there for Me, Myself and I. TC

This is the bare facts, over the last 20+ years successive governments have gambled with the taxpayers money and lost.......big time !!

This cancer reaches down as far as local councils too.

 

Over the coming years you are going to be paying ever increasing amounts of tax (legalised theft) and get even less for your money.....that's the bottom line.

They will try and dress it up as this and that, appeal to one group or the other but the fact is you will be working even more months for the MPs than you already do.

There no reason to think any of the traditional 3 have any new solutions, it's a case of fool me once shame on you......fool me twice shame on me !!

 

UKIP may not have the solutions either, but let's be honest, they can't be any worse than what we have had and at least they are starting from the basic premise that a mans money belongs to him and NOT the state !!

Conservative = More people removed from income tax (less money for schools, hospitals, roads etc), resulting in more cuts. Tax cuts for the wealthiest. An increase in borrowing and, as a result, the national deficit - don't believe them, they haven't reduced it by a single penny and are still borrowing £220 million EVERY DAY.

Europe - renegotiate the British position. European response ? NO ! CaMoron's demands would be illegal (in European law), and will never be conceded to. CaMoron's retort ? An IN/OUT referendum - only he won't go through with it - they've been putting it off for years - the Tories would be hopelessly divided, and he would be re-titled 'Leader of Her Majesty's Lame Duck government'.

Further European integration (more immigration, loss of sovereignty and corruption) - we're not even considering a referendum, because we're even more divided than they are !. In fact, we're so close to the party who are supposed to be our implacable enemy, that we promise to stick to their spending plans for at least the first term of a new parliament.(Official Labour policy !)

The deficit hasn't changed despite a booming economy because they daren't increase taxation and daren't decrease spending. We (the electorate) can groan about politics all we want but there's some shitty medicine we are going to have to take soon if we are serious about sorting this country out. So far, we've all been guilty of wanting more money today and to hell with tomorrow and in a democracy that attitude will present you with politicians that happily give you it.

 

I guess this is where the 'working man' tells me the big solution is to tax the rich more heavily and stop wasting money on foreign aid?

Cut taxes for the poor they tend to spend more on goods and services etc. so more money going into the system thats more profits for businesses = more tax revenues.

 

Cut taxes for the rich then you attract more businesses to the UK so more jobs = more tax revenues and existing businesses tend to expand/ employ more people = more tax revenues. If you tax the rich more you actually get less its called the laffer curve .

 

 

Ukip plan to do both.

European Commission President José Manuel Barroso has warned the UK that voting to leave the EU would spark capital flight as companies move their headquarters to the continent.

 

Speaking at Chatham House on Monday, the outgoing EU leader said: "They have told me, some of the most important global companies, that they will move out of Britain from the City to Frankfurt or to Paris if Britain leaves the European Union."

 

Mr Barroso said Britain was too wee, too poor, and too stupid to run its own affairs and warned that the country's valuable reserves of Daily Mail headlines would dry up without the EU.

Prime Minister David Cameron wants voters to say Yes to remaining in the EU in the forthcoming in/out referendum but he has vowed to get more powers devolved from Brussels to Westminster. I'm still undecided. On the one hand, do I want more immigration, higher taxes and to be treated like a second class citizen in my own country? Or on the other hand do I want the opposite? Hmmm.

 

Labour are solely to blame for the huge number of murderous foreigners in our midst who apparently hate us so much, but not enough to refuse to sponge off us.

 

Anyone who would want labour in to f**k our country up even more than they did last time (if that's possible) needs psychiatric help.

You forget this isn't a tory govt it's a coalition with the Lib Dems. Like it or not everything they do needs to be agreed with Nick Clegg or it doesn't go through. I suspect the gay marriage thing was a sweetner for the Lib Dems to push something through the commons as its got their name al overr it.

The hunting ban would never be overturned with this situation, as for immigration the fact that Labour signed us up for The human rights act with Europe left us well and truly with our pants down as any low life peice of scum that clearly doesn't belong here just clings onto this and enters into a lengthy and very costly to the tax payers process.
