Free 4Yr Old Working Saluki Collie X

This dog is now in my kennel after his owner could no longer keep him.

 

He is a great natured working dog that has done everything successfully.

Been kennelled, good with kids, other dogs etc and is an all round good dog.

 

He is a bit out of shape due to not being worked this season, so he`ll be with me for a short period to beef up a bit, but I can`t keep him as I have 3 dogs already.

 

I am based near Edinburgh, and would prefer a working home for him before I put him to a rescue organisation.

 

I am offering him free, but to the right person, If you turn up and tell me " that dugs bangin man,eh`s the bomb, eh man !". you will be sent off with a flea in yer ear, He is a good dog with a good working history so I would rather put him in a pet home than let him go to someone who will pass him around, or take him straight out and ruin him.

I go back to work on Tues, so if the correct place turns up before that, fine, after that, the dog will be staying where he is till I come home again in a couple of weeks.

I know Ross. He really just needs conditioning, and bonding with a new owner.

 

Just had him out and he`s a great dog, no issue with recall or lead work, was fine with the other dogs.

 

He likes a kennel bed to himself, so if you had more than one dog sharing a bed box he probably wouldn't take to that, but that's all.

Well a nice refreshing honest post for a change. Rake..do your homework on thre prospective new owner coz there are many charlatans/dealers out there who will suck you in then welch on the deal.

That's a fantastic opportunity for someone a four year old dog. A bit of bonding long walks he's back to fitness and ready to go and for free spot on that Mark.

Dog is now rehomed. Hopefully they will get on fine with each other. They certainly hit it off fine.

He certainly is Jamie, that dogs a topper when he`s on form, . Should make a nice companion for doing the rounds checking the traps etc
