I'm on the same hymn sheet as lab .... when we have thousands of people in our own country relying on food parcels to feed their kids ... Pensioners dying from the cold because they can't afford to he

Compassion states that you would take some in though Scott. Some deserve our help   Unfortunately our Govt has caused us to hate so many people that we forget to be human sometimes

That's just plain common sense. We have a moral obligation to care for refugees. UKIP aren't the nazi party! LOL   More common sense from a common sense party!

Gnash it's got nothing to do with desperation. There's a difference between genuine refugees and mass uncontrolled immigration.

It's the largest refugee crises in modern history, possibly ever. We should have put the whole thing to bed 6 months ago IMO.

If a title " Let Syria Refugees into Uk " was attached to any other party we would all be ranting and raving saying things like " this country is finished "...................but when people have become so downtrodden that they are willing to put all their eggs into one basket its amazing how they will bend their thought process to suit that one tiny glimmer of hope.

Makes sound financial sense to me, a few hundred genuine refugees is better than handing over best part of a billion quid for some Arabs to line their pockets and nothing gets to the people who need it.

The cost of these people is pocket change compared to the open door immigration from former eastern block states.......don't need to be a rocket scientist to work that out.

Well I for one wouldn't, there's a lot of people that believe UKIP are something they're not, some sort of 21st century National Front.

Like I said It's my beliefe we have a moral obligation to act in situations like this. Parliament decided that to take direct action to prevent an ongoing refugee crises was wrong so now we must deal with that consiquence. We could just say 'f**k em' but a lot of our foreign politics relies on our supposed supperior moral standing in the world.

Likewise I've never claimed to be against immigration, yet I'm still a supporter of UKIP as they're not against immigration either. There's a lot of people that believe UKIP are something they're not, yeah of course they're gonna be dissapointed. Me... I'm just seeing more common sense policies.
