Well,22 pages on a man that no-one seems to have a good word for other than enjoying his early books,I met Plummer on many occassions at a mates farm and he was always odd,to say the least,he suffered

His books were the only ones of their kind in the seventies and eighties, and I must have owned and read them all. They were entertaining and to an impressionable teenager the 'facts' were often dige

It maters not one jot to me in reality, my blood is thinker than most.

I learned a long time ago that if everyone who says they hunt did so, the UK would be devoid of wildlife, and I have always said, there are far more hares caught in the bar room then in any field, and long my it remain that way.

Long long long time ago in my late teens, I had a mate back then who was friendly with Plummer and I was with my mate and he arranged for me to stay with Plummer ,  however at the time I declined the offer as I wasn't allowed to take my dog and didn't want to go  without her. My friend was gifted a Plummer lurcher pup, I only watched it ferreting and it had a good nose and was steady round a bury. Here is an old pic I took

I haven't a clue mate , I probably was told but forgot,  it was years ago. And last time I seen my old mate was over ten years ago when he popped into my business to say hello.

Another thing I heard,  was Plummer had a love child that was  given away at birth. The child grew to be a thick set huge bulk of a man that inherited plummers habit  bending the truth a bit. Some say the man could carry 100 breeze blocks on his shoulder and caught many many more rabbits and foxes then Plummer ever did. The child was given the nickname of " The Brick " !

Mark am only joking lol, you know I like to wind you up. Keep on bricking pal !

I like that, Mr Brick actually had hybrid-vigour, faster, stronger, more intelligent and factual than his dad (I think Teddy moritz was his mam).
