fellman 116
My Elbow was like that last week after I had been cutting some 5 ft high weeds down for missus friend, now I know what done it, Estate I live on is plagued by bluebottles this year. An when I took dog out for walk earlier along the crop sides I was pestered by midges ,ears, eyes nose, bloody things. You got bit by a bluebottle? I get bit daily by horseflies and mosquitoes but its only now and again that one goes wrong. It's mad when you've got a bite on one side of your arm swollen like mad but the itch is on the other side? gnipper i hear they will only bite bad meat!

willum 89
Try using a bite stick always carry one on me this time of year .you get them from most chemists they're just a ammonia pen , as soon as you've been bitten dab it all over the area I get the odd 1 once in a blue moon give me a nip but nothing swells up . Thought might help .

skycat 6,174
I've just remembered Waspeze is brilliant stuff.........went to buy it and found its been discontinued by the manufacturers Anthisan creme is quite good, but you need to slather it on the bite as soon as you have been bitten or it doesn't do much good at all.
