Allright lads ! There are six of us flying into Birmingham early on saturday morning and booked into the Park Inn hotel in Telford for two nights for the game fair ! It is the first time for all of us. Any advise on getting from Birmingham to Telford ? Can we get a train easily enough or would we be better off getting a large taxi to Telford ? We are all on a tight enough budget so what are our best options ? Really looking forward to this game fair ! -

The Finals of The Cock Of The North, Terrier and Lurcher Championship, will be held at Wolsingham Country Show Sunday 7th September 2014 Wolsingham, Co Durham, DL13 3JG 11.30am start for child handlers, followed by cock of the north finals at 12 noon prompt. Netmaking Comp at the Midland Gamefair,i am again running the netmaking comp, this is all about abit of fun for all people who make nets.Everyone welcome to come and enter, there is alot of prizes on offer,if you carn,t come and make a net on the day you are welcome to bring 1 along with you or post 1 to me before the event,it will run over the weekend of the show and will be judged on the sunday afternoon ,it will be blind judged as always,the event as run now for 10 years with no problems and all the proceeds go to animal charity Prizes from Arthur carter Bulldog tools Dorwest herbs Jbs

Here is all the info you should need for sunday at the CORNISH LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP!! All competitors racing or showing will receive half price entry £3!! This will apply to the dogs handler only... we will be doing under 23" and over23" lurcher racing at 11am, booking in for this will take place in the entry tent by the showrings between 10.30 and 11am. The top eight dogs from the unders and overs will qualify for the racing championship which will take place after the show...ing classes have completed.
