    did it effect the dogs ability in any way mate? no not at all mate, the way she used to run about you'd think she had been born with 3 toes, unfortunetly she was ran over and killed(by myself) about 6weeks after the operation, and this was springtime so i never got the chance to see what she was like on a hards night lamping.the sting in the tail was i got the bill thruogh the post the day i buried her. keep us informed mate

    had the same injury on my dog 3 yrs ago, but it was a back toe, the vet said it was a deep nail infectionand gave me some antibiotics 6week later he was still saying it was an infection, so i went to a different vet and before i lifted the dog onto the table he said the toe was broke and needed to come off, 3 weeks after the operation she was running around as good as new,and the operation cost a lot less than 6 weeks worth of antibiotics, so in my experience its best to get a 2nd opinion, hope you get it sorted mate

    let us know how you get on ditch, as im in the same boat mate, high pitched ringing in my left lug, can only hear it when sitting in the house at night when its quiet, plug me right lug up and am completely deaf

    now the joiner couldnt wait to bait around it for a few days so he baited it up the next morning a actually caught 7birds a few jacks/rooks and 2 magpuies but unfortunately they all got out, the gaps between the rungs were 7inch apart by 12inch, so with a little advise from johnb we moved the rungs closer and fitted some extra mesh on either end of the ladder covering another 2 gaps at each end(making it only possible to get in thru 3 holes in the middle of the ladder), we then ran a bit of lat longways under neath the ladder, so the holes now measure 6inch by 12 inch but with us putting that

    WHAT FERRETS IS SAYING IS TRUE, SOME PUPS WILL THROW TOWARDS THE GREYHOUND IN SHAPE AND ITS LITTER BROTHERS/SISTER MIGHT THROW TO A DIFFERENT SHAPE IE MORE COLLIE -FIED OR HAVE A MORE BULLY APPERANCE BUT NEVER THE LESS OLD TRAP COLLECTER WAS RIGHT WITH HIS PERCENTAGES, THEY WILL ALL BE THE SAME REGARDLESS OF LOOKING DIFFERENT

    well bob has got a valid point, i dont have any kids, but theres no way i would have left her alone while i went out, and i agree with mole catcher he's hit the nail bag on the head, this country is so upside down its unreal. lets all hope and keep our fingers crossed for the little lass

    what size is the ideal size for the gaps in the ladder between the rungs, and for daunker if you didnt fit a ladder what size gap did you have? and also instead of a ladder would fitting some pignetting(fenceing wire) be any good, look forward to replies
