  1. If you are still stuck for your pup, I can kennel her till you get sorted and back on your feet. PM me if you are interested.
  2. The dangerous bit isn't the level, radiation dose is accumulative as you probably know......once you go you have got your dose and you don't loose it when you leave......the longer you stay, the bigger it gets mate. It also seems to affect men worse than women. The babushkas of Chernobyl are quite famous and have been the subject of several articles and at least 1 documentary. They all have some form of cancer (thyroid cancer appears to be the most coon) but they have all outlived their men...
  3. If you paid cash for them then that is true. But, get a mortgage on each house for 60%, then you only pay £40k tovbuy. There would be mortgage repayments, but the rent would cover them and then leave some profit. At the end of the mortgage, the properties could be let for pure profit or sold to cash in the investment. Renting properties like thus will not get you rich quickly, but that £7500 you quote above is for 0 (agents fees anf a maintenance budget is factored into the figures, as is tax) work. The actual rental income would be £3900 per house, so £19500 for your portfolio of 5. To

  5. You can pick up properties in Washington for as little as £18000 the most you would get in rent about £225 per month Thats if you could get someone to live in the shit tip Lick of paint and a new carpet/laminate flooring throughout and you could get £75 per week (single occupancy housing benefit). That's £3900 per annum, a return of nearly 20%. Obviously there would be expenses like gas safety certificate, insurance, tax and agents fees I've calculated that you would make £1500 profit per annum per property. Assuming the purchase prices remains at £20k per house it would be possible to b
  6. What club membership? Did that vest fit ok?
  7. No, didn't see it. Buying large groups together is common practice amongst developers. I remember a few years back there was a council sold a street of ex local authority houses for something silly like a fiver... Can't fund that article, but there is this one http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2184334/Empty-houses-sale-1-Britains-cheapest-street.html
  8. seen a clip of a Dutch Shepard dog running up side of a van/bus with window open dog jumps in pulls attacker through the window....bet it would be fun wearing a full suit and running across a field waiting for that bite to hit you like a steam train lol I've done it with military dogs. Its f***ing hilarious.

  10. I invest in all sorts of shit mate........human beings included .......yes the wines a decent little return, like anything else the more you plough in the more your likely to see back with a bit of patience.... i just like the fact you can sit back forget about it and let others do the brainwork......you,ll see a lot more than you will off the interest of your average savings account put it that way Find the right human being to invest in and the rewards will be beyond anything else I can think of. Finding the right person is extremely difficult though.
  11. Seems bloody easy though but I'm guessing it can't all be a walk in the park. That homes under the hammer just installs into me even more so that you need money to make money. There is always money to be made from property. Buying low, selling high and doing improvements on a tight budget is the secret. Not that much money is needed to get into property. Houses in Burnley or Tyneside can be bought for as little as £20k. That is only 1 year of saving at £400 a week. Once bought these can be let out and used to generate funds for the next one.
  12. I would go Palladium or tanzinite.
  13. Ritual slaughter of a goat with a Kukri is part of British Arny Gurkha tradition. It is eaten as a curry afterwards.
  14. DnN has a couple for his mutts as well.
  15. After the night before, I doubt he was in a fit state to hunt even that!
  16. In the 1980s the Kajaki dam and surrounding centre were a Russian r&r centre, before the Muj overran it and cut the heads off everyone they found. The main problem with these legacy minefields is that they have migrated since sowing. Depending on slope and climactic conditions this can be by 100s of metres.
  17. They have lurchers in other countries as well. The construction industry is picking up. Lots of opportunities nationwide.
  18. A saucer of beer will attract them and drown them.
  19. From the tone I would say the whole article was fairly tounge in cheek. It is fairly dangerous, with horses killing more people each year than Ecstasy. The point about wars is more about the character forming qualities of fox hunting, rather than the actual practical skills involved. When Duke Wellington said that the Battle of Waterloo was 'won on the playing fields of Eton' I doubt he meant that 18th century warfare used similar practical skills as the Eton wall game...
  20. According to BBC Wildlife magazine such fights are territorial disputes caused by over crowding...
  21. When either or both of these badgers is found as road kill, will there be a stream of RSPCA/LACS articles highlighting the terrible injuries that badger baiters are inflicting on badgers with dogs?
  22. The western world is too reliant in oil for such an option. What I think is required is a bit of neo colonialism. Ethnically cleanse the whole area and resettle it with Brits.
  23. If you are on 4 on 4 off, then agency HGV driving during 2 of your off days would help put a decent amount in the bank. As long as you stick to drivers hours legislation, you can put together a limited company and put the money through that to help reduce the tax burden. Get a good accountant and make sure that it is all legal and you are away.
  24. Didn't you have a thread up about your Mates dogs being nicked ???not meFukc me I'm going mad ..... Time makes fools of us all.
