Hi I put a thread on here yesterday to sell my terrier books and it's been deleted. I looked at the site rules and the only mention about selling was no commercial selling which I'm not, I'm selling my own collection. I don't know if it's because it's in the wrong place but the classifieds section didn't really seem to have the right section for books so I put it here as all the books are terrier based. Can someone let me know what I've done wrong please. Thanks

I'd like a bit of advice on how to get out to follow a pack. I live in East Hampshire. I know of the Hampshire Hunt, but thought there might be others about as well. I dont really know much about the ins and outs of hound packs, lurchers has been my thing. Do I need to be a member to follow on foot, or need to be vouched for to be invited to a meet. I haven't got a clue really. Any advice much appreciated

There no meat on it Fred. i buried it for bout 3 month then cleaned with water. but the bone is now yellow sort of colour. is the hair dying peroxide cream better than the disinfectant stuff as it says its 12% instead of 9%. Thanks again for the replies so far

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've got a roe buck skull I was gonna have a go at mounting. What is best to use as a bleaching agent. I put one of the lower jaws in a bowl of hydrogen peroxide and it worked, but you can only buy it in 200ml from the chemist and i reckon i need nearly 2ltr for the skull. Would 12% peroxide cream for hair work. A litre of that is only a couple of quid off amazon,. Thanks

I've seen snowdrops at the side of the road in Hampshire as well. My hens aren't laying much though. Laying in the winter wont do them any harm mate, but a hen only has so many eggs to lay in its life, so the faster it lays them the faster it'll stop

A lot of people are saying years ago dogs without bull did the job ect. What about years ago on the fen when dogs without suluki killed hares. So whats all the fuss about sulukis? Cos they kill more hares more regular than any other cross. People accept that now as proven. Maybe in another 10 20 years if the bull remains as popular as it is, people will start to accept it instead of reminising about the good old days. Not saying the bull x is the only way to go, but a lot of people seem to right off the cross as a posers dog just because some are owned by posers
