Yes mate caught when fishing for barbel-ignoring the bites lol.caught on double pellet or mainline bollies.best bait on the wye for chub has to be maggots/bread in the feeder and big bunch on the hook/chunk of bread flake.not impossible to get 100/150 lb bags-my mate had 280 lb in a 4hr match few years back'nothing really under 3/4 lb.atb dc

Always wise to open up enough around the dog so as to remove it and dispatch the quarry with the minimum amount of stress to them both.commonsense should prevail, I would grab the legs personally if dogs in tight.yanking on things can cause unnecessary damage imo .atb dc

Used to be a few 20's and odd 30 in the Brecon and Mon canal years ago.they would travel a fair distance between locks.my biggest is around 17 lb caught it on doggie biscuits and controller float.not fished it for years...Used to be some nice perch and tench aswell. I've looked at these myself but they didn't work out much cheaper than the solid Galv panels. Not sure how it would work out building your own. But I think I'm going down the solid panel route next with bar dividers and bar front gates. Small wooden kennel inside or a plastic barrel and a decent roof... gaz that's similar to what I'm doing only a block of 4 runs- 4ft x4ft each for my terriers-solid dividing partions and mesh door fronts-comes in at just under 700 notes for metalwork then got to put a roof on it,that's around another 100/150-they will have 30 l blue plastic barrels filled with
