Where did n stevens get his? Can he take the credit for the lads that had dogs from him 15/20 yrs ago and are still working them now ?ask them and see what they say.if you put the work into them them they are yours no f****r else's in my eyes.you choose what goes on what etc not the man that you bought a dog off 30 yr ago. There's not too many folk that have never payed for a dog at one time or another.regardless of what they may say .atb dc

Fishing in lakes for them is just a waiting game -catching the big ones from running water/canals takes some serious watercraft and skill imo-atb dc

Had a blackdog about 17 yrs ago from his breeding-the blood is still in the dogs I have around me now all going back on the sires side.he comes from a village that has its fair share of terriermen with solid working lines.I don't know him personally but people I know who have had dealings with the man have the upmost respect for the man.one of the few who I'd like to sit down with and talk dogs.atb dc

Every time I fish the wye into darkness they make an appearance -3 different types -knock your line and make you think you had a bite lol-we had them in an old district hospital that we we turning into apartments -5,000 pound fine if you tamper or hurt one.a guy would be out every day to check up on them.atb dc

Yes mate the wye-it has some good numbers of fish all species, coarse and game- only thing it doesn't have is zander-none that I've heard of yet.atb dc -

The ones I've caught from lakes I kindly put back into running water ;)the river I fish is slow unless carrying extra water,but the bottom is a mix of deep holes in bedrock,gravel and weed,silt/sand I catch from them all-depends on time of year,water conditions, time of day .if you hit it at the right time you will have some sport imo.atb dc -
