Anyone tried those Baer skin hoodie fleeces? I bought one, well worth £75 and was thoroughly impressed, never had a fleece so warm, been stood on a beach in galeforce winds and not felt a thing...better than the windstopper gear I've tried from Mammut etc
-
You not tried the trousers for that jacket? Have 2 pairs,I find them spot on Also got the Seeland Marsh and gamekeeper trousers, still going strong after 8 yrs...my favourite are the old real tree deerhunter Ram trousers with the zip out goretex liners inside ...paid £150 15 yrs or more ago.. keep you warm and dry,not so good if you're doing miles on foot mind, sweat like f**k

See the full range of country clothing and footwear online, or at our shop. Fast and free UK... Best boots by far imo are Hiax cold weather ,I can abuse them work and play, last 2/3 seasons easy, dont know you got them on tbf,and at £30/£40 a pair grade 1 s..I would never buy

Ive got the above jacket and matching trousers, had them a few seasons now,no complaints..I bought a load of Harkila gear when it first came about, and didnt rate it tbh,not for the money,I had 3 different pairs of their top end boots and every pair split and leaked like f**k,all lasted less than a month... clothing wise,Ive had some bits from Seeland and Deerhunter that have lasted and worn well...but now I would walk past Harkila...even on the discount rack

When I started,I was put in a 4 man gang(3 groundworkers 1 machine driver)with a gentleman called Mick Mullumberry.,very quietly spoken, was like he whispered everything to you lol..he was 68 about 5' 2 9 stone soaking wet...and the fastest man to this day, I've ever seen pinning out and laying kerbs..he could lay 6 x 12 kerbs all day long, bump them up and down off a dumper, was stong as f**k..my job was levelling out in front of him and backing them up....Would do pallet after pallet while every other gang on site plodded along he worked till he was 72,then left and set up a little gardening
