Problem was the bottom metre of the cavity was soaking and had no way to dry out with that insulation.... everything above that was reasonably dry when it came out

Spent the last 2 days , cutting out the bricks and removing the insulation they pumped in the cavity before we bought the place .... it's been causing damp downstairs in the living room had a quote for 4 k.....not paying for something I can sort out myself....few holes and some drainage rods,hooked it out and bagged up,few days of circulation to dry out the walls ...then brick them back up Tuesday....get a price off the renderers on site to come render the lot then

Ive used them few yrs back,used to take them off when they weren't in the kennel/house ...only problem was the young terriers chewing them off the other dogs -
I don't think so mate..the problem ,that I see/hear about is people who decide they want to live in one full time....they not smart enough to move around and not f**k the locals off...lots of places you could stay for free few yrs back have been blown....gates and barriers go up and they stop the decent folks using it then...like anything,great at the start...more people find out...they fck it for everyone else..just like the hunting game

My next door neighbours bought a lwb boxer van 3 months ago..put in windows, insulation power etc...when lost interest...will be up for sale soon like everything else they buybe a nice van for someone to make 'their' own.... I'll put it up on here when its for sale

Caravans are great but cost you loads to store them when not in use if you dont have a driveway/yard mate,ive had 4/5 of them over the yrs...ground rent on the sites is ridiculous...my van will go 5 days without an electric hook up....so we can go/stay anywhere it fits really,sleeps 6 easy without the awning up,gas central heating,power shower in the bathroom,tv and fire stick,usb points so the 4 kids can charge their shit.. proper little home from home...ideal for when I invite guests to fish on the wye etc shes old...but gold,best 12 k ive ever spent, getting it reupholstered next few mon

My mate got the merc adventure ( garage at the rear for the moto x bikes.,when its empty you can get a double air bed in the back,kids sleep in the main part of the van.. the front seats rotate around,press a button and electronic blinds come down the windscreen and front windows, playstation 5 and Tv,shower and toilet room..bought it after someone crashed into the side of it...then repaired it...owes him 22 k...they 3 x that new

That will do for 2 of you for the odd night,still be tight mind,how ever you set it out...Id get a roof tent ,that will give you more room/sleeping options,get a decent awning/for the rear over the back doors, and wind out sun canopy for cooking under/kids to sleep in/chill on your chairs with your fire pit..helps if its wet and you cant get out..2 x good leisure batteries/solar panels on the roof,usb charging points,keep kids happy... there's all sorts you can do.......You will get the bug.....and buy yourself a proper motorhome in the end....enjoy,good times ahead
