  1. Great pics, you need a bigger back pack you'll fit no goats in that
  2. Poor show, not many dogs, was told dogs were been taken off owners by ISPCA ? I saw a guy been kicked out by Guards (Police) apparently for selling dogs, lot of unhappy lurcher & terrier men most said they wouldn't go again ? was told after ISPCA were there yesterday the word went out not to go/bring dogs

  4. There will be plenty of coursing dogs free to take away come December, most fellas with coursing studs wouldn't give you the service, dont think they would add anthing to a lurcher, too big, some 100lbs, and bred for a 400 meter straight run, a lot of them lack fire as well, I've had my share of them for coursing & hunted them as well
  5. Looking for a greyhound dog to cover a deerhound bitch next Saturday or Sunday, a track dog , not too big, be great if hes covered a bitch before, any help appreciated, in Limerick Ireland
  6. I use mixture of both covers all eventualities, but these new age feeds are a major step forward, they stem from Canada where the feed standards are massively better than our own poor standards for dogs and they not even in same ball park quality wise Yet all the top mushers out there feed their sled dogs predominantly on fish and meat ........ I've been out on the Iditarod (support crew) - our teams were fed a mixture of raw and kibble...as was every other team!! Yep I was there many moons ago that's why I said PREDOMINATELY feed meat and fish ....... Just pointing out that Kibb
  7. What credentials ? I presume you mean "aspect of a person's background" like full name and address I've got them as you can see, you have none, a pseudonym of kate b, don't know who bred your dog or where you bought it, wont say where you live or have lived and have no pics of your dog "póg mo thóin"
  8. Also my Dad worked in the dog pound for years and you'd seldom see a lurcher in there, I think your a spoofer, do you know what that Irish slang means
  9. Sky cat - i've been on those sites and I know that there are too many nondescript lurchers out there. That why i'm looking for something with really good lines that working dog people will recognise and really good looks that non working homes will like. I didn't breed Sulya for that reason - Because I didn't work her when she was young she didn't have her own working reputation and ireland is awash with lurchers. Hence my thinking about a full bred Saluki from good parentage. I'd quite like to make my own cross. And I now live in London and I used to be stopped every day by people admiring Su
  10. The pups were £800-£1000 and you asked if you could have one for nothing.....you were refused so hence the breeds going the wrong way...did I miss something or are you on an alternative orbit to the rest of the planet
