  1. Hi all, Anybody got any, due any, know of any Springador pups or even up to 7 month? Working/ trialling blood line. Cheers
  2. Out of interest what's the cost to have a hob done?
  3. I'm using me phone at min so can't tell you exact but from what I remember I did in while on PC on your profile settings
  4. Thinking about it, I haven't seen a Red in years. I might not be looking in the right places but everytime I see one its a bloody Grey. Shame!
  5. I've never gone for the money myself. Mainly the crack and being apart of something I enjoy. Most of the ones I've been on there hasn't been food every time. Maybe at Xmas or when a lad from Holland brought the some meats n Cheeses (along with some booze). Beaters day is always a bonus plus like it's been said, gets the dogs doing what they're bred for.
  6. They would only check your guns anyway so note to worry about really. You are allowed to borrow someone else's gun for 3 days I think without notification as well
  7. Plus it will be the firearms dept and not just the regular beat plod.
  8. Could do with a small one myself, don't care about colour or sex. Doncaster area for me
  9. I wouldn't recommend jeans, they soak in water like no mans business and don't dry out easy. I wear moleskins and a pair of Barbour waxed over trousers / chaps. When I was a kid I just used to wear a pair of army trousers. End of the day you can pretty much wear what you want but just remember, your gunna be walking in them near enough all day, weather could turn hot then cold, even if it ain't raining at the time, walking though a bit of beat that was rained on the day or night before is gunna get you wet.
  10. Ye quite a few, I've got a couple myself
  11. It's all Civi's in the firearms dept so things don't happen as good as they used to. My Firearms officers is a cracker though, can't say a bad word against him. Really down to earth and always willing to have a chat about any problems or ought. Last renewal was taking ages so gave him a call and I received my new one within the week. Can't remember about sending me old one off so doesn't really help the topic lol.
  12. I agree with the above. If most of them are bolting when you use a normal lamp then they definitely have seen it before! Rabbits can't really see the red light, not sure if it's at all or just struggle to see it generally but if I can get close enough I generally just use the red light when I'm pulling the trigger. Depends how strong your lamp is as I know when you use a filter can seriously reduce intensity of beam. If you get somewhere that ain't been lamped then I would use red but then white to stun em then take shot. Like already been said though, everyday is a school day. Good luck
  13. I used to wear a black flat for years until I bought a brown waxed baseball cap which I now wear everyday. If it's freezing then I go for my green thinsulate.
  14. Cheers pal, I've PM him so hopefully will hear something back.
  15. Spoke to a local kennels today, no work at min as its their quite season. Suppose it makes sense though. Oh well
  16. Heat measurement kinda thing
  17. I'm just after a bit of cash in hand to get me by till I find a full time role. I found a bit of beating coming up but dates ain't set yet but things like that as can pretty much go any day, helping out on land etc. I've not got a trade apart from thermography which is too specialised to just fall into a job lol Cheers
  18. Appreciate it bud, this is the time I could definitely do with a bit of permission to get some rabbits for pot. Rabbit stew can go along way as we all know lol
