  1. Yep. Totally agree. As an aside, I may well wear my new top down the pub tomorrow. Then again I might not. Lol. Have a good weekend. Jok.
  2. Yep. The Taffs are all feeling disgruntled over the TMO decision. Now then. Verdict?? I really have watched this a lot of times and I could not possibly give the try. What's the verdict?. Jok.
  3. Aye. Yer not wrong Sussex and I note Dave is gloating as per. I just hope that our guys find a bit of spirit and bring back recent form. I think England deserved the win today but I can't remember so many changes during mins. Jok.
  4. Watched that 10 times and 5. Times I reckon he had downward pressure and 5 times he almost missed the ball completely. The TMO is after all the final judge but I'll bet he looks at it a lot more. Guess the spoon is coming our way. Jok.
  5. Adam. It might be an idea to pm me. Jok.
  6. Here's pic of the Bokker but can't find the gutting blade.
  7. Flacko and DC. Sorry just read your post. My Buck is almost the same as DC but with a brass butt. Just by the w as I have another which I bought whilst in Germany on the boar. It's a Bokker with interchangeable blades but totally a hunting knife. Blades are curved gutting, bone saw and general all round. Hell of a thing but if memory serves me correctly it cost around £90. Jok.
  8. Eh up Cushty. Nice to hear from you. Been a while. How's the Corby Candle? I remember when we used bank bags which were not hessian but did the job ok. Fit nicely in the pocket. Jok.
  9. Learn how to make them and get on with it. Very therapeutic you know. Jok.
  10. Nice going. Not a bad last day. Looking at your pics made me wonder what has happened to lovely lady member who, 2 years ago was making very nice wreaths from game bird feathers. She was on here quite a lot. ??.Jok.
  11. A Zander caught by Mattyg would be a world changer. Jok.
  12. Know what pal. I was only thinking the same thing last night. At a guess, I would say that 7 from 10 no longer post and I've had no pm's for a long while. Not belittling anyone currently on here but since the change there has been a noticeable change in the dialogue between members. Jok.
  13. Mate. We are going way of subject for which I apologise. When diving off the East coast , I never,, ever, gave out way points. My wrecks were closely guarded and in fact not that many were registered on the register. I will say that fishing was not high on the agenda but when it came to inshore I wasn't too bothered. Jok.
  14. Eh up edrd and Rabid. Yes the river Nene was , and probably still is, a great place for both eels and lampreys. You would need to know where though. Just by the power station and Avon Cosmetics on the Bedford Rd was the place to be but there was loads more. Jok.
  15. River Nene , Then up to Lincolnshire was packed with them. HOWEVER? A related question to all our anglers. LAST TIME YOU SAW OR CAUGHT A LAMPREY?? Bet that's got you guessing Jok.
  16. To be fair GL this was around 1971/72. Also at this time we had the Youngs guys coming round the pubs with all sorts of sea fish. They had these huge baskets with eels, cockles, whelks, crab claws and goodness knows what else. To be honest, with a pint of Watneys Red Barrel these were welcome in the pubs every Friday night. Jok.
  17. I remember going to the North Bank at Boston, Lincs. We had caught loads of bleak on the way and set up on the darkness. We caught a lot !! Into bags and off back to Northampton where the catch was put in the bath in suitable 2 inch chunks. Was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen with each chunk jumping about like it was electrocuted. As was explained to me later. The nerves were still jangling. Anyhow, following day down at the Buffs, we had a nice dinner. Spot on. Jok.
  18. Is that any good for you? I pm'd you.
  19. Which one pal. Both are posted with pics on here but if you want I'll do another. As follows. Jok.
  20. Eh up Adam. Yes I know what you mean and to be fair mine is a Buck. The Opinel comment was directed to Griff who might have an idea or two. Anyway, how are you generally? Jok.
  21. Have a word with Griff. He'll sort you out. On the subject cause I know Griff will see this, why don't you do a knife of this sort from the Opinel point of view. I reckon that would be a winner pal. Jok.
  22. Where are you pal. pm me please. Jok.
  23. Should have read Wickes. Jok.
