Know what pal. I can’t speak more highly about the service I’ve just had. To be fair my health has not been good and I was concerned. I had an assessment on my cataract 4 weeks ago and last Wednesday had the operation. Eye drops 3 times a day for 3 weeks and job done. I had my psa blood tests come through within a week and lo and behold it has reduced. Am at ease now. Jok.

Seeing as how you obviously enjoy, have you ever ventured onto Culloden Moor. It is the most heart stopping place imaginable. On the same trip I mentioned we stopped there and the hairs on every part of me stood to attention. We saw nor heard anyone for the best part of 3 hours. Well worth the trip. Jok.

Well I was wrong on one and damn close on the river. We had a family jaunt in the motor home and I think we were very close to there. For saying that, many Scottish, smallish rivers look similar. Coming from the Borders it could have been one of many. I’ve fished quite a few. Awe enspiring is the scenery. Jok.

When I had my dive boat it was common practice when beaching, to count the waves. It seemed we always got that little bit of extra oomph when on number 7. Only thing is, which is number one? Funny old conundrum. Jok

As some of you might know I was at Doddies funeral and the wake at the heart of rugby, Melrose Greenyards. These guys and all who support the cause, be it family, friends, fellow players, deserve a lot of credit. I hear that three of Doddies pals and indeed fellow players are doing a Europe run to raise funds for the charity. Good on you guys. Jok.

It baffles me, in view of present crime rates, how a site like this can put up for sale, imitation handguns which have a real look about them, catapults, blowguns, ammunition and more. Surely this should be regulated somehow. (Forgot to mention samuri swords and other long blades). Jok.

DC. I was on here the other day reference catfish. I thought the pics showed a place near Tamworth. I was wrong. However, it transpires that a fishery near here called Fisherwick has 2 lakes, one a specimen lake with cats to 70 lbs. Might be worth a gander. Jok.

Well guys and girls. Having been around weapons for one reason or another, involved with hunting and fishing ,playing contact sports and generally leading a full on life, this has come as a bit of a shock. Seeing things double, not able to focus, losing the first letter or digit in a sentence is not to be recommended. They hope that an operation will sort it out so am awaiting a date. Quite scary really as your sight deteriorates. Not only that, driving might be an issue. Jok.

I’ve just had an altercation with my neighbour on similar grounds. Last week had my workshop re roofed and ended up with some delaminted roof sheets. Didn’t do anything about them as my neighbour had washing out, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weather was coming in so decided on a burning on Monday. Wind was bang on so I lit it. Now we are not talking bonfires here but an litre garden dustbin. Dry asa bone and no smoke to speak of. What a round of fcks I had, over the fence. New Kid. What a lovely presentation. It took me a minute or two to work out mirrored meals ffs. The last time I had Sushi was in the Middle East and loved it. TBF I don’t know of any resteraunts close to home who do this. Might be search coming on. Jok.

I’ll admit to having eaten tree rats on many occasions. I used to make a selection of game pies with squirrel included. To be fair one gave about half as much as a rabbit so I used 2. Not a bad taste either. Jok.

Bit too late for me. Trying my dambnest to get the consultant to make even a telephone appointment. I understand that my PSA has reduced from 10.5 to 9 but that is not really reassuring. Not having too much of a problem through the night but generally flow is not very good. Apparantely I’m with holding about 400mm but considering the amount I consume that’s hardly surprising. I am 70. Just as an aside, having read you post on nettle tea, I have spent the last couple of hours researching a bit more. It was very enlightening and I am going to check that it will not affect any meds I’m taking fo
