My 223 ackley lamping gun has a nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 np2dd cracking scope On my 6br long rang plinker and day time foxer has the nightforce NXS 8-32x56 np2dd on it You can pick a second hand NXS up for £1000 or maybe little less, remember your optics is what will pay especially at night Gaz

  8. I'm struggling at the minute on rape, thousands of birds in 4 or 5 different areas I have, but few shots and they move on best I've managed this year is 115 and that was having 4 teams spread acoss the ground to keep them on the move Good luck Gaz

  11. Your only down road from me I'm on the market for a good rabbiting dog, mainly when ferreting but also lamp work if you know of any Cheers Gaz
  12. Little patch I have it's just right for a few quick bunnies now and again. The holes out in the field aren't what I would call proper warrens, there more like safe holes and they live in a think spiny cover. So plan all ways is to get there when dark and sneak through the wood and push them in to the save holes. Any way got there this morn before light, wind was perfect but when I got in to the field very few eyes was spotted. But I wasn't after numbers just a few for the pot and to keep the ferrets happy. Hello men and women My name is Gareth, I do a lot of rifle shooting but my main love is ferreting been doing it since about 12 years of age I'm 30 now and still enjoy the days out I use purse nets 10/12 oz ones around 100 plus quick set long nets but I thinking of a little ferreting dog to help so any advice will be good best days ferreting to date is 31 and best night shooting 146. Anyone around staff/derb needs a hand I'm about as we could help each other may be Gaz
