    I think you could be right there mate? I don't think leaving the EU would make any difference to the immigration from Syria anyway, the argument is we went in and caused the conflict, or poured petrol on the fire at least, we would still be held responsible by the world, and would still have to take our share of immigrants presumably?

    With the law this is my thinking, instead of using an earth dog for a bit of rabbiting, breeding dogs for it, I think in the end I would like to end up with a spaniel, a terrier whippet and a lurcher, with these I think I could cover everything I need to That mix sounds ok to me mate, but if i had that combo i would get the whippet x terrier and get it working off its own back before getting the spaniel, if you do it the other way round the terrier x might be goal lagging to much, they tend to be smart little dogs, you could end up with a slow lurcher rather than a fast busher? Just

    Whippet x terriers, and the x's out of them can make really good dogs, a few lads round here had these x's years ago and we still talk about them, a couple were really top notch animals. The best rabbitting terrier i ever owned came from a whippet x terrier being put back into terriers, hell of a rabbiting bitch, and didn't drop in. I had all this in mind when we bred whippet x spaniels, not a terrier granted, but the result is very similar.     Have to agree there, if the dog was called Nigger it was called Nigger and shouldn't be changed. Different times and all that, it could even lead into a good discussion with kids about how different things were considered acceptable back then that aren't now. Opal Fruits to "Starburst" too Maybe its irrelevant to the kids now, the story wouldn't change dramatically if they changed the dogs name, but its a slippery slope imo what's next, And you don't ever settle things by burying it or ignoring it..........people never learn?

    I watched a news item and they're talking about editing the Dambusters film, because of the dogs name, i don't like the N word at all, but they're changing a fact of British history, bad choice for a dogs name, but do we want to turn our history into fiction? Maybe an insult to black people, but when Bader flew over the dams they were burying his dog, or so the story goes?     I watched some of the debate in the EU parliament earlier, what a disgrace and kick in the teeth to the people who've died fighting to keep Europe free, what gives these f***ing loonies the right to give Europe away like this?     I don't necessarily disagree with any of that. But let's not stray too far from where this started. I said I'm glad it didn't go through parliament, you said it did 2 years ago. It didn't. The RAF are not bombing Assad's assets yet and it'd be very foolish to do so as part of any strategic goal without parliamentary approval (not that it's constitutionally required). Nonetheless, I'm not disagreeing that they want to force an end to the civil war and out the man, or that this drone strike was a convenient way of testing the water on the issue.     When the neo/con of the USA, GB wanted to invade Syria a couple of years back public opinion went against it, our lot and the Yanks had to back down over public opinion, now a bit down the line they're flooding us with undesirables to alter public opinion the other way.
