They mix it up a lot in Israel, amoungst Jews. A lot of inter-racial marriages between jews from the arab countries and european jews, very different culturaly between an Iranian or Yemini jew and a Polish or British jew. Some of us poor uneducated people saw right through the ukip scam mate, despite people like you........ You aren't brainwashed, that's obvious, you're the genuine article. Get an accomplice the dog doesn't know to walk another dog on the lead in the park, arm them with a cardboard tube, when your dog runs up get the accomplice to give it a good whack with the tube, repeat with a different person/dog if possible, should make it think twice, unless it's stone hatchet

On a serious note..........i thought it could be students using it for Mosaics, but they took some crappy 1" x 1" timber, broken hardboard, and bits of plastic waste pipe as well as the tiles? Proper junk?

I've filled hundreds of skips, maybe more than that? But i don't throw anything worth taking if there's a few quid in it, scrap, furniture, fires.....ect, but it always amazes me what people will take out of a skip? Sometimes you turn up in a morning and the skips nearly empty One i can't figure out was a mini skip full of broken bathroom tiles, must have needed some hardcore

I do some of me best work in the dark mate or used to I don't think you'll have any major problems turning them into a good little bushing team, get the stuff in front of them, and the breeding will do the rest

Bushing every time for me Rob, interesting watching the dogs work, and work as a team (hopefully) I used to lamp a fair bit, and enjoyed it, specially bringing a young dog on, but i prefer bushing.........just more to it i suppose And i'm scared of the dark

A couple of old mates both rated collie x labs they borrowed as kids, two different dogs, still mention them 40/50 years later when rabbiting dogs come up, they both kept ESS for years, but those collie x labs left a lasting impression

A mate went to use a spaniel x Russell stud a few years back, the owner had 2 dogs.....1/2 x Russell/spaniel and it's son back to a spaniel bitch, so a 3/4 spaniel/Russell............he rated the old 1/2 x better than its son, said the same thing as you mate, steadier, more willing to listen, he said the old dog never missed a days work, and was still bushing at 13.

I think it's a good topic mate, specially with lads moving away from the more traditional breeding to create something specific that suits them personally, surprised there's not more responses really? I'm happy with my spaniel x whippet, good for mixed ground, adapts to anything i throw at here pretty well. She's more or less like a whippet x terrier, but better nose (imo) and not so headstrong, she works thick cover well enough for me, but if i did a lot of heavy cover i'd go for a spaniel x terrier type tbh, but she's no slacker on any ground really.
