    I never had a mentor and started at the age of 13 made all the mistakes you can make . Soon realised why you don't double up . Both dogs was in a mess and it was an awkward dig . Two dogs locked on each other not a nice sight. ( could of been a lot worse and would of lost great digging dogs ) . Why not to dig ice cream cone holes . Not to jump on the Shovel to quick . And to trust and understand the dog . And to make sure you've got all the equipment and its all in working order . I only lost one dog through mistakes .     few hundredRing fit and fertile . Last Time I did it 220 to take the straw's the 20 a year to store them .

    What's in his breeding is he registered . Dose he naturally gaurd when at home etc . My brothers old one and my mates get on with other dogs etc can walk them in local parks etc . When at home it's a different story even when the dog knows you , you can't get I. Till the owner says so then it's fine .

    No probs Parker . I don't know that much about them . I've only seen a few do protection work looked good and strong . My brother had lurchers and had an alapaha at that time and it was good in cover and hunted up well for such a big dog . I'm just not that keen on this type of dog so prob not the best person to answer the question . All I can say about them is that there most prob one of the best gaurd dogs I've seen very loyal .

    Ds get one from where I got my drahthaar from at least you know that there proper ones and have had to of done all there's working test etc . I can give you contacts if you want they can either bring them to you or go for it . I'm off over ther later in the year July August time . I could bring one back over with me etc .

    My mates after a stud if anyone knows of any . He's got a very well bred bitch . Really smart and fit 6 years old . Looking for a stud of same quality . I know it's a long shot on this site but said I'd ask so I'm asking . No daft comments . Don't really no anything about this breed . To be honest don't even like the breed .
